I'm still here, really...
May. 4th, 2005 10:10 pmI've just been really bad with updating. I haven't really had much to say, especially when it comes to fandom... Alias is pretty much sucking, and with the exception of my still crazy love for 24 and NCIS, there hasn't been much else that I've really fallen for this season. Until now... more on that later.
I am looking forward to joining everyone in their total and utter Veronica Mars obsession. I can't get VM where I am in Canada, so I had no way to watch but strictly downloading, and that seemed like too much work. If only I'd known, because it's way more work now trying to catch up. mspooh has been so kind to hook me up with the earlier episodes. They should arrive next week, and then I'll probably binge out on them in a very scary way. In the meantime, I hope I'm not too spoiled for all the fun when I do start watching.
As for my other obsession? Well if I thought catching up on one season of Veronica Mars was going to be trouble, I have no clue what I was thinking when I fell, and fell hard, for ( Stargate SG-1, more blatherings here )
The big question here is what I should do about the current episodes. Space is running the second half of Season Eight right now. I'm not sure when Season 9 is going to start up, but I'm guessing it's soon. So should I start watching season eight? I've already been spoiled for quite a few major plotlines, but there are some things that I'm totally in the dark on. If I wait until I've seen all the episodes before I watch season 9, that will be at least eight months from now. Ew. That is just too long. Or will I just be completely lost if I start watching the later eps now? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. As would the fic recs. Did I mention that I'm obsessed? I've already planning a vid... I just need to get some episodes downloaded so I can.
Other than that, life has been pretty boring around here, with the exception of my amazing trip to Cuba. It was so beautiful, and the most wonderful and relaxing time ever. Especially since the weather has been ultra sucky up here since I got back. I'm at work right now, but I'll edit to add some pictures when I get home.
